This Ramadan, Tarawih will be led by 3 imaams:

• Dr Shaykh Mohammed Ibrahim Anani
  • Teacher at Masjid Al Nabawi
  • Guest Imam that has travelled from Madinah to lead Tarawih in EJM this Ramadan.
• Hafiz Mowlana Ashraful Mowla
  • Resident Imaam at Essex Jamme Masjid
• Hafiz Abdul Jabbar Nahin
  • Madinah University Graduate
  • Resident Hifz teacher at EJM Academy

Tarawih Jamaat times

• First Jamaat (Brothers & Sisters) – After Isha Salah @ 8:30pm
• Second Jamaat (Brothers ONLY) – 11:30pm led by Mowlana Akhlaq Rahman

Parking at Tarawih

Parking this Ramadan at Tarawih – Allhamdulillah, once again our neighbors at Essex Water (Tap car park) have allowed us to use their car park for 20 vehicles during Tarawih times. As well as this car park, the mosque car park will be in use too.

Please respect our neighbours and other road users when arriving and leaving the masjid. Do not block driveways and make loud noise

EJM Knowledge Circles

This Ramadan 2024, Essex Jamme Masjid is offering various knowledge circles catering for all to get closer to Allah. Starting from the 1^st day of Ramadan, EJM is offering the below;

• Everyday after Zuhr – Halqatul Quran
• Everyday after Asr – Dars on various topics
• Everyday after Isha – Short reminder regarding Ramadan

Fundraising Appeal

This Ramadan 2024, we have two major appeals that we need YOUR help. Essex Masjid Jamme needs your help this Ramadan.

• Help pay YOUR mosques utility bill.
  • For just a £1 direct debit per day, help pay the mosques utility bill starting from today!
  • The Mosques of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day; perform As-Salat (Igamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat and fear none but Allah. [Quran 9:18]
• Pay your Zakaat by sponsoring a hifz/alim student in EJM Academy
  • We now accept Zakah and Sadaqa, which will be used towards families in hardship within our community and ensure their children are not deprived from Islamic Education.
  • Verily Allah has made Zakat obligatory for them which would be collected from the wealthy amongst them and distributed to their needy ones. Sahih Muslim: Hadith no 31

£7.00 Minimum amount per person. This can be paid at the Masjid reception.
